Nearwell

Terms of Service & SMS Terms

Last updated: October 6, 2026

1. About Nearwell

Nearwell is a senior safety check-in service operated by Seltron Technologies LLC, 150 East Palmetto Park Rd, Suite 800, Boca Raton, FL 33432 ("we", "us"). Seniors check in through the Nearwell app; if a senior misses a check-in during their active hours, the family members they have linked are notified.

2. SMS Alert Program

  • Program name: Nearwell Check-in Alerts.
  • What you receive: safety alerts telling you that a senior you are linked to has not checked in within their chosen interval. We do not send marketing or promotional messages.
  • How you opt in: family members opt in by checking the optional SMS consent box when creating a Family account or on their Profile page. Consent is not a condition of using Nearwell; email alerts remain available.
  • Message frequency: varies based on missed check-ins, typically 0–4 messages per month.
  • Cost: Message and data rates may apply.
  • Opt out: reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. You will receive one confirmation message and no further SMS. You can also uncheck SMS consent on your Profile page.
  • Help: reply HELP for help, or email [email protected].
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

3. Not an Emergency Service

Nearwell is a convenience tool and is not a medical alert or emergency response service. Alerts can be delayed or fail to deliver. In an emergency, call 911.

4. Your Account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, including phone numbers, and for keeping your password secure. You may only link or add people who have agreed to use Nearwell with you.

5. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information. Mobile information and SMS opt-in consent are never shared with third parties for marketing.

6. Changes and Contact

We may update these terms and will post the new version on this page. Questions: [email protected].
